My husband and I purchased a beautiful female long haired dachshund. We live in Indiana and purchased her from Deanna in Oklahoma. We have been very pleased with the results!! We sent Deanna the money and in 5 days we were picking her up at the airport with no problems whatsoever. I would recommend anyone purchasing a dachshund from Deanna.
Dear Deanna,
My wife and I are so grateful for all you’ve done and the extra efforts on your part to get us our sweet little Maggie. All through this transaction you have gone above and beyond all expectations. From sending us the darling pictures of her to the extra effort and expense you took to fly her to us. You have no idea how surprised we were when we went to the airport and saw the extra expense you took to send her in such a nice carrier. After looking around our local area I have found nothing that even compares in quality to the carrier you provided.
We took our little Maggie to our vet as soon as we got her and he reported her to be in absolute perfect health. Not even the normal puppy problems normally encountered when you first purchase a new pet, not even one flea!
In addition he reported she was very clean and very friendly. Not at all shy as with many new pets. This showed us that she had been played with and taken very good care of before she ever got to us. In short, she was pre-spoiled!
In short, Deanna, you made us feel more like friends than clients. And your follow up communications about how Maggie was doing reveals how much your pets are loved.
In closing, please feel free to use our name, phone number, and address for references to your future clients.

To all at Abbott Kennels,
I would like to thank you for such a wonderful puppy. Dakota, as we have named her, is sweet, well behaved, loving and a bundle of fun! She has the shiniest chocolate coat, everybody who meets her comments on her color. It's almost like she has a tint of auburn in it. She's beautiful. She has been housebroken since she was three and a half months old, she learns quickly and wants to please us. She loves our cats, although they are still getting used to her, and she loves when there are kids around. She loves her brother, an Australian Shepherd who is one week older than her. They are so funny to watch-they play great together! She is already becoming quite a watchdog, letting us know if someone or something is lurking around. She retrieves everything! Even snowballs! If she can't find the snowball to bring back, she won't come inside, so we have to keep a ball outside in those cases. I can't say enough good things about her. She is by far one of the best dogs I've ever had, and she's only a puppy! I will recommend you highly to anyone I hear of looking for a lab. We couldn't be happier with her!
Thank you so much and keep it up, it'd be a great loss if you stopped breeding!
With Much Gratitude,
Deanna and Dave Brady

My son and I bought the last two chocolate males from Snickers previous
litter and you wouldn't believe the compliments we receive about the demeanor of
these pups. They are absolutely beautiful animals. Its almost unreal how calm
and mild mannered they are, at least until you get near water and start working
them. Then they are all business, the drive and determination to succeed and
please is unreal. Almost to the point you can't work the two of them together
anymore, for that matter any other dog. We had our Springer out with Ely (the
larger of the two pups) just the other day and I thought he was going to have a
seizure when we made him hold while the Springer got in a bit of practice. I
can't thank you enough for such wonderful pups.
My younger brother is looking to buy another lab puppy and after spending the
afternoon with Ely & Brewser at a family get together around my sisters backyard
pool. He was so impressed that I was sent on an information hunt about new pups
from Snickers and Dakota. He couldn't believe that young children from the age
of 2 - 10 could be walking around with food in their hands and on their plates
without a single reaction from either of the pups. He even said he thought these
pups lacked enough drive to make very good duck dogs. Sooo out came the
retrieving dummies and the pool was cleared. Needless to say after about 20
minutes of endless retrieving and nearly flawless response to commands he was
convinced. (HE WAS WRONG). But what took the cake for him was when I placed the
retrieving dummies back in the bag; both dogs came over to my chair and lay down
at my feet only to resume their pre workout activities. (Watching everyone
else.)

To all at Abbott Kennels,
I would like to thank you so much for our wonderful puppy Bevo . He is well
behaved, loving and is an energy ball ! Honestly everyone who gets near this dog
, wants to take him home ! He is currently being enrolled for basic training at
a local PetsMart in Oklahoma City,OK. , which i know he will do very well. And
just to let you know this pup loves the WATER ... he sees a pond, pool ... or
the shower running .... 5 seconds later HE'S IN IT !. He even swims after the
local Ducks in the ponds .He's beautiful. he always get complimented on his
shiny chocolate coat and how soft it is .One thing that we love about Bevo is
that he loves our cats, although they are still getting used to him. Oh my Gosh
Deanna ,he retrieves everything! But he's sneaky, for example... you can take
him out side to do his Business and if he sees any birds on the ground he will
walk so soft and slow and ponce on the birds ... He's amazing I can't say enough
good things about him. He is by far one of the best dogs we ever had, ! I will
recommend you highly to anyone I hear of looking for a lab. Attached i have sent
you some pics of Bevo (now 3 months old).Thank you so much for blessing us with
such a great Pup !

Oklahoma City , OK .
Hi Deanna and family, This is Reese. He has grown so much. We
adore him. He is so attentive to commands. He is also doing very well with the
housebreaking. The picture with the water is Reese with our youngest, Skylar.
They are planting sun flowers. He already thinks the summer is too hot. I guess
we'll have to buy him a pool to play in outside. This puppy is such a great pet
already. He sits to be petted. He's not overly rough. I think , even as big as
he is , he could play with any size child. We will send more pictures as he
grows. The Wilcut Family

Hello,
We purchased a puppy of Snickers and Dakota. She was born August 15th, 2006. I would like some pictures of her parents and littermates if you have them. I am sending some picture of Jess, taken in April. She has been easy going and easy to train.
Thanks Ben

Hello this is Chris sutch, Max is training well and learning quick. He got annitiated the first knight home with a bite to his lip after trying to nurse off Pepper. With a trip to the vet the next morning, they got along great after he knew his place in the pecking order here. Max has also shown great promise with his pointing. He has held three times so far on point just in the yard playing and training. Thanks, he is a great addition to our dogs, home, and family. Here are some pictures of Max, Sugar, Pepper.

This is our pup we sent to therapedics to train as a service dog.
I just wanted to write and thank you once again for my precious Hope. I don't know if you saw us on Fox's morning show last week, but she did wonderful, I even got a chance to mention your kennel on air. She is really doing quite well. She can sit, lie down, stay, and turn on the light switch. Yesterday I dropped my pencil and it rolled away from me and she went and got it and brought it back to me. She is really doing fabulous, the wonderful thing for me is that she sleeps through the night (by the second night) and she has only had one accident in the house.
Here is a website showing a picture that our photographer took of her and a mock-up of an advertising campaign we are going to start with her. (just cut and paste into your browser)

and
Hopefully this attatchment comes through ok. It is a recent picture of Hope. She is amazing, it is hard to believe it has already been a year.
She has the best retrieval instinct in a dog I have had in a long time. She is extremely easy to teach new tasks. It is as though she can tell what you want the first time you "show" it to her. She is also very eager to please me. She is a bit of a clown though, always wanting to get a laugh out of someone. She is also to smart for her own good. She has figured out every gate we have put up, as well as how to open every container we put her food in, a great skill for a service dog :). She graduated my home just a couple of weeks ago and is now with her training home. They are going to "polish"
her up and get her ready for her new assignment. I sure hope that her partner will be a child, because she LOVES kids. She will be graduating in about a year. She is an amazing dog, a true testiment to the breeding stock you have. I have recommended your kennels to several of my husbands hunting friends. Thank you so much for your contribution to the program. Right now Therapetics is in the midst of a huge fundraising effort with KVOO called the "Million Penny Drive" you can check out or website at www.therapetics.org for dates when we will be doing "live remotes" maybe you can see Hope. We are also having a graduation on August 19th (check the website for details) and although Hope is not graduating, she will be there.
Thanks again

This is Justin Tate from Oklahoma City—I bought Crash as the 1st pick of Benelli’s litter last spring. I wanted to give you an update on him. I put him through some training over the summer and fall at Deep Fork Retrievers in Choctaw. John Amico is the owner & trainer and he worked Crash hard to get him ready for this hunting season. Crash just went on his third hunt yesterday, where he retrieved a four person limit on mallards, grey ducks and shovelers. He possesses the qualities I was looking for in a hunting dog. I couldn’t ask more out of a 1st year pup. He doesn’t know how to quit or give up on a retrieve. Anyways, just wanted to let you know how he’s doing, I attached a picture from yesterday’s hunt. Crash is a big boy now but I know he has a lot more growing to do!
